SERVICE TECHNICIAN DUTIES ARE: Performs diagnostic, repair and maintenance of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems.
Must be competent to properly diagnose and determine problems or issues on new and existing systems installed in residential and light commercial applications, according to specifications and established safety guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS: Requires some formal training in installation from local distributors and manufacturers. Requires 5+ years of experience servicing, troubleshooting gas furnaces, heat pumps, dual fuel systems.
- Must be familiar with wiring schematics, standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
- Must have EPA certification for handling refrigerants.
- Must possess minor computer skills and capable of using a standard windows computer.
- Must be capable exercising independent experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Will be required to be on call a six-day call rotation, Once or twice per month.
- Make yourself available while on call or at work to perform a variety of other tasks when needed.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and have a personal vehicle to get use when not at work.
- Must have own hand tools, manometer, refrigerant gauges, battery drill and other electrical meters.
- The Company will furnish tools such as reclaim machine, torches, vacuum pump, etc. will be provided.
SERVICE TECHNICIANS would typically report to a managing Dispatcher or Service Manager. On average start time 7:30 AM and first call is set up at 8am
Traits we are looking for in a technician: Is a wide degree of creativity, positive attitude, motivation and latitude is expected.
Technicians will be required to participate in online as well as classroom training classes. If your Nate Certified, that’s a plus but not necessary. All employees are required to be set on a path to be Nate Certified within 2-3 years. The more certifications over time results in a higher pay scale.

Higher Pay is offered to individuals with per-existing certifications such as Nate / State certifications & Osha licenses.
Maintenance Tech Employees are flatrate (reg & overtime) start out at $17-$20 P/H for Maintenance Technicians.
Service Tech Employees are flatrate (reg & overtime) start out at $22-$27 P/H for a Nate Certified Service Technician.

Must be capable to design, drawing, building HVAC duct & fittings on residential & lite commercial duct systems. Including installing flex duct, boots and take-off's
